Read this when Use this page when tracing the HTML/Pandoc templates and include fragments that shape rendered gwern.net pages around sidebar.html (Renamed).

Note: include/sidebar.html no longer exists in the source tree. It was renamed to include/navbar.html in commit 84f952d32 ("Rename 'sidebar' to 'navbar'", 2026-02-07), per git log --follow include/navbar.html. All element IDs and class names were correspondingly renamed (#sidebar → #navbar, .sidebar-links → .navbar-links).

Use navbar.html for current behavior and integration details.
